Legal Question in Family Law in California

I had a baby in 2009. Of course, the child was added to my Insurance and Trust Fund through work. 3 Months after birth, I found out the child wasn't mine. (Just by the biological mother verbally saying she did a DNA test behind my back with the bio dad) In 2011 the bio mother had the childs last name legally changed, and I can see it on the county's open access information website. To this day, the child is still on my insurance, and they wont remove him until I show, A DNA report, an amended birth certificate, and documentation stating, that I accept no financial responsibility for the child. I went to the court house, and they told me they cannot give information to someone who isn't the legal parent! I asked the bio mother for the DNA test and she isn't complying! What can I do?

You need to consult with an attorney in person if possible. You will need an attorney thoroughly familiar with California's paternity laws. Just reading your post, I have many questions, such as whether you ever received the child into your home and held him out as your own, whether you signed a voluntary declaration of paternity, and what forms you submitted to the insurer originally.
