Legal Question in Family Law in California

In California, once the child reaches the age that the divorce paperwork says child support should stop (in this case 19), does the father have to submit forms to stop paying, or just stop sending payment? The father is paying the child support directly to the mother, not via wage garnishment.

The father can just stop paying in the situation you describe.
