continuance

Do I go to the court on the date of my OSC to ask for a continuence if

it has not been agreed upon?

It does not hurt to ask, but, unless you have a pretty good reason, the court will deny the request. A good reason sometimes is that you are hiring an attorney--but beware, this claim does not always work, especially if you have used it before.
