Legal Question in Family Law in California

What am I entitled to, since I had no idea?

I just received a letter from the Merced's D.A. office (a town 7 hours away), telling me I need to test for paternity/support and 1/2 of insurance for a boy who is almost 7 yrs. This woman was a one night stand and now I may have a boy I never knew about. If I am required to pay support, do I get visitation? Even if he lives so far away? What should I except to happen? I also have a daughter from a previous relationship and currently married with a newborn son! Help!

hire a local lawyer there and demand a test.
