gift/inheritance during marrage

my mother gave me the mobile home we have been renting

from her as an inheritance gift. she asked that i do not register it with my wife, since she does not think she cares about our marrage and will want to cut and run with the money. i did not listen to her and have put the home in joint tenents in common and.

this was 6 months ago, no we are selling the home and she is talking about divorce and her share. we have been married only 18 months, is she intitled to have of the profit from the house and how does the orrigional gift amount value of 35,000 factor into the share to her.
