Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hiding income and assets to lower c/s obligation

My ex has put everything he can into his new wifes name including his small business. Now that he has nothing in ''his'' name, he has filed to reduce his child support obligation, crying poor. The wife works another job full time and yet ''draws'' a check from this company which she knows nothing about. His financials have been redacted. It is a Nevada Corp and his wife is the agent. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated as to how best to have him punished for this behavior. Thanks.

Hire good counsel and he/she can hire a good private investigator. The earlier the better. His fraud, once shown to the court should cure his behavior.

The focal point should not be on punishing him for his conduct - it should be on getting the information that you need to maximize your financial result.

I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
