Legal Question in Family Law in California

Husband hiding money

My cousin's husband is withdrawing money from the ATM at California gambling casinos and telling her that he is gambling his income away and does not have any money. She knows he is lying and hiding this money from her, possibly hiding it under his sister's name. Also, he has bought disability insurance so he can stop working in case she divorces him for money. He won't have to pay child support or alimony because he'll claim he has no money due to a gambling habit. He also physically abuses hers besides hiding his income. He has direct deposit and his own account which his wife can't access. She has 4 kids and no money. If she files for divorce, how can she prove that he is not gambling his money and is frauding her and her kids?
