Legal Question in Family Law in California

I live in Texas and my ex wife lives in California with our 17 year old daughter. My daughter will be 18 in Dec. My ex wife wants me to pay child support past the age of 18. One year ago my daughter came here to Texas to live with me because it was CPS ordered. I did not recieve child support payments the 1 year and 1 month she lived with me. My daughter has now returned back to California with her mother. I am not sure if she is enrolled in school today. Am I obligated to pay child support after the age of 18 considering my ex wife did not pay child support to me when our daughter lived with me?

It depends on the state law in the state the support was ordered. If it is a California order, it ends when she is both 18 and no longer full time high school student, OR turns 19. If it is a TX order, you'll need to ask a TX attorney.
