Legal Question in Family Law in California

restraining order

My ex has a temp RO on me and my court date is in a week. What are the legal ramifications to myself if I simply don't show up?

Re: restraining order

If you do not show up the restrainig order will be granted. Your name will be submitted to a federal registry. It is unlikely you will be able to own a gun and it could affect future employment. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

Re: restraining order

If you do not go the temporary order will become permanent (3 yrs.). You will also have it on your Rap Sheet, and, perhaps credit report. Contact me directly if you wish to have it not entered.
