Re: spousal support/family support

If you are paying support, a court ordered it somewhere, so some court says it has jurisdiction. You need to go back to the court that ordered it to modify it, unless all parties have moved to a different state, in which case you can seek modification in the new state that now has jurisdiction. The only thing the court might not have jurisdiction to do is retroatively modify the support, that is, change it from some time in the past. Support can only be changed going forward.
