Legal Question in Family Law in California

trust account

my divorce attorney was ordered to give me $5000.00 from a trust fund. He says he's having troubles and maybe he can get $500.00. Could he have spent the money from the fund? If he did can I sue him?

Attorneys cannot spend money held in trust. I would contact the California State Bar with your inquiry.
