Do I have a case?

My car was broken into recently in my high school parking lot and there were up to $600 in damages and stolem items. The parking lot does not have any type of security at all and it does not have any signs posted stating that the school is not responsible. I would like to know if i have a case? Can I get them to reimburse me my money? Can I get them to put a security camera in? Can I get anything to happen at all?

You probably don't have a case against the school, since it only offers you a place to park and does not guarantee that your car will be safe there. If you can identify the thief then you can bring a case against him.
