Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Need help with Latin legal terminology

At a recent deposition, an attorney said what I believe to be a Latin phrase sounding something like ''sausis duces sausa ganda'' or ''gandra.'' I am having a hard time looking up the phrase. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance.

Subpoena duces tecum? (a subpoena issued by the court requiring a witness to bring to court or a deposition relevant documents under that witnesses control)

I think the other lawyer probably had a speech impediment. I think it's "what's good for the goose is good for the gander."
