Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Hello, i received a summons on a contract complaint; 3rd party credit collections. My question is to how to answer question #1. It names myself AND DOES 1 TO 10, INCLUSIVE. I understand that i need to answer "admit" as far as my name, just not sure about the "does 1 to 10, inclusive" part. any help would be appreciated. thanks. BTW i live in california

You can simply file a general denial. If you want to answer each allegation, ignore the Does as you are only answering for yourself.
