Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Statute of Limitations

Is there a Statute of limitations on filing a Invasion of Privacy suit? I have been trying to find the Civil Code, I have found that it is 1 year for Libel and Slander but do not find a Civil Code that addresses ''privacy'' Please, I need the exact Civil Code for California. Thank you.

Re: Statute of Limitations

Normally two years. Important exception, if a public entity or public employee is defendant, certain steps must normally be taken within six months. Do not wait until the end of the limitations period. Retain legal counsel as soon as possible.
