Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

writ of attachment

I have a writ on attachment on my porperty due to a lawsuit in which i am the defendant. The lawsuit is about to be dismissed. What happens to the attachment to my property? does it cancel on its own when the case is dismissed or do forms have to be filed and submitted to the court in order to cancel the writ of attachments. If forms have to be file who files this forms? the plaintif?

Re: writ of attachment

You will need the judgment of dismissal to say that the writ of attachment is recalled. Then file the judgment of dismissal with the County Recorder.
