HIV and Green Card

On H1B visa since 2000.

Recently infected with HIV one month before.

Single, Straight guy.

What are the options available to get green card ?

I have not started the Green Card process.

First, if your employer is willing to offer you a permanent position, then labor certification should be prepared and processed. If you can't get an offer for permanent position, then at least get your employer to extend your contract for additional three years.

Second, you should look into family sponsored adjustment in order to qualify for a waiver. Good luck.

HIV is considered to be a communicable disease, which makes you excludeable for the green card process through employment. There is no waiver available. HIV waivers are available for asylees and family-based immigrants.
