Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

labor certification 245i

Dear sir or madam,

I entered this country legally as a visitor. I found an employer who is willing to petition me for the 245i labor certification. My papers is now in the California Department of Labor. I realized that I furnished the wrong information regarding the date of my past employment and the kind of work I did. Is it possible for me to rectify the 2 years experience since this is the right one? I hope this will not affect my petition.

Thank you very much.

Yours Respectfully,

Re: labor certification 245i

Yes...you can do that. You can also change employer...but still you would get 245 (i) protection.
