Legal Question in Employment Law in California

on call

oncall 24hrs 5 days . no calls no pay, calls get 35% of that call. totally under the control of employer 24hrs. Tow truck driver, gets crazy at times.Should i get standby pay?

Probably. Go file and pursue your claim with the local office of the Labor Commissioner. If they agree you are due money, they'll bring enforcement action for you. You are free to hire an attorney to help you there. If you win, you could get paid your attorney fees in addition to wages, penalties and interest.
