Legal Question in Employment Law in California

compensation

I recently quit a job, but was still owed money. I finally received my last check, over a month after I quit. The check bounced, as did other checked I received during my employment. Is there any legal avenue I can take to get my pay?

Re: compensation

Forward this matter to your local police department. If the checks were not postdated, the police department can pursue this matter. Otherwise you can either file a complaint with the labor board or sue in small claims court. The current limit in California is $7500
