Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Laws for a Salaried Employee

What are the state laws for saleried employees in CA? Especially pay being docked for a few hours here and there? (pro rated). Do I have to use vacation or sick time? Does a salary emp. accrue sick time, or are they paid their salary regardless? If a salary was agreed upon for a 46 week year, can I be required to work those other weeks when the office is closed for the same salary? If I miss a few hours, am I required to make up those hours for in order to receive the same pay? In a nutshell, What does Salary mean?
