Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I performed a mystery shop for this company in California. They refuse to pay me as they claim my report was late yet I disagree. I contacted the Attorney General and they stated they need a valid mailing address which the company refuses to give out. The owner of the company told me if I continue to contact them in regard to this matter they will get a restraining order against me. Would a judge grant that as I am trying to collect money for services rendered.

How much did yu expect to get paid? If it is under $ 7.5K you may file a claim in small claims court. You need to have it served on their agent for service found on the secretary of state's web site, business search. Contact me directly.
