Re: Pregnancy Disability Leave

In general, CFRA entitles employees to 12 weeks in any 12 month period. For complications of childbirth or recovery from childbirth the employee may get another 12 weeks under California's Pregnancy Disability Leave law. All these issues depend upon the facts and a lot more details. As an employer you should not be relying upon anonymous advice on the internet on issues like these that could create substantial liability for your company and officers. Contact me if interested in doing it right and learning how the laws apply to you and your employees. You should have all this in an employee handbook and policy manuals.
