Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was the supervisor at a bank, lost my job of 21 years for allowing a fraudlent check through. I followed procedure and was still terminated. They stated that it was because of the amount of the check that I lost my job. I was recently subpoeneaed to go to court to testify on behalf of the bank. Can I charge them for attending court?
