Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was terminated for a disablity that was incurred at work, Is this Legal?

I was terminated for having a disability that I incurred while accomplishing my work tasks. Furthermore my termination went into affect 2 years after I initially hurt myself. I had been to a doctor when I initially hurt myself and they declared that my lowar lumbar discs were damaged. I continued my tasks at work with restrictions; however, two years after the fact, I was terminated for this same disability. The school states that this is due to a state doctor declaring me 30% disabled. I was one quarter away from receiving a pension. I was not given any unemployment information and am not sufficiently disabled to qualify for disability. Do I have any grounds for a lawsuit?

Suffice to say, you need to get it to see an experienced plaintiff's employment lawyer.
