Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was terminated from my job in December. The answering machine still has my exension as an option for people to leave messages. The web site still show my profile and name. It has been over a month and it is still showing up. Is this legal? They may be getting jobs from this information.

I would send a written letter requesting that you be removed from the telephone system and the website within 48 hours of receipt of the letter and send it registered mail. You may have causes of action you can assert against them if they are using your likeness without your permission to obtain financial gain after you request to be removed.
