time cards

Can an employer change a time card? My daughter is a traveling RN and her employer lowered her hours on her last time card and docked her pay. Is this legal?

Re: time cards

"Legal"? Yes, if they are claiming she misstated her hours, plus they could fire her on 'timecard fraud' grounds. If they are saying she worked too many hours and that they won't pay her for them, then she can file a claim with the Labor Commissioner for unpaid wages.
