Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Unhappy with Union Representation/want to change

How can a group of employees change their union representation and how will this effect contract negotiations that will soon commense? Our group is represented by a small Local although our company is now nation-wide. We feel our union is inadequately serving us. International of Local will not help us.

Re: Unhappy with Union Representation/

The easiest way to change Unions is to find a new one. They will surely know how to get the proess going. In short, the new union will need to petition the National Labor Relations Board for an election to determine the reperesentative of the employer's employees. TP
