Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I have worked from home on Fridays for 6 years, the entire time I have been at my current employment. It was a part of my being hired but it was a verbal contract, nothing written. My manager was fired and the new manager wants to stop my working from home once a week. Have I any laws on my side?

Nope. Unless there is a contract for a specific term, you can quit any time you want, and your employer can change any and all terms of your working conditions, or fire you, at any time for any reason as long as it is not based on discrimination against you for being part of a protected classification (race, gender, etc.).
