Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Ac leaks into my roof they only fixed it by putting a bucket in the upper crawl space w informed them on august 2nd . I live in the desert. A light in the kichen is hanging by a wire, the oven doesn't work. The only thing they have fixed was a leak in the front yard and they fixed it by capping off the nozzles so the front yard is dying. There's also not enough smoke detectors. Do have a right to say its not fit for habitation? What action should I take from here I don't want to be under this landlord anymore. We are on a month to month basis.

If you are on month to month don't worry about habitability. Just give 30-days notice and move.
