Enforceing a writ of possession

A court judgement and writ of possession was issued on 12/18/2003.Sheriff did not enforce,pending $75.00 fee. Defendants are on site. Is the writ still enforceable?

A writ of possession is only good for 6 months. You'll need to get a new one from the court.

And make sure to pay the fee this time, both for reissuance of the writ and for the sheriff to evict the tenants.
