Can landlord sever with 24 hours notice to current tenants, and show the property to new tenant, because current tenant went through Fair housing council of Orange Country, then Housing

First, you cannot be evicted on 24 hours notice. If you have lived in the apartment for under 1 year, then they must give you 30 days notice. If, however, you have lived there for 1 year or more, they must given you sixty days notice. Evicting you because you went to Fair Housing might be retaliatory eviction. You need to consult with a tenant-rights attorney right away.
