Can I ask for lost rent in an unlawful detainer suit

I filed an unlawful detainer suit against my tenant. They signed a 1-year lease, so I will have lost rent if the court orders them to vacate the premises. Tehy have not filed a response to my motion, so I will apply for a default judgement. Can I include an estimate of lost rent on top of unpaid rent?
