Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
I hired a licensed, insured and bonded contractor to cut my trees and they accidential cut into my electrical conduit and killed my pool pump. They attempted to repair the issue, but still my pool pump is still dead. I initial told they I would go half on the repairs assuming the repair cost was going to be under $100. After calling around, the total cost will be around $500 to repair the damage wiring, but with no guarantee that the pumps are still working which will increase the total repair cost. What are my rights and can I ask them to pay in full for the repairs? Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide.

That's why they're licensed, insured, and bonded. In case of situations like this where they destroy someone's property while carrying out the duties they were hired for. Make them pay for the entire repair. But for their negligence your pump would still be alive.
They are completely responsible for all damages they caused. You have no reason to share any of the cost.
