Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

I have a website http://kevinchandler.info which spams emails. It was made for the purpose of testing the spam filters for gmail/yahoo etc..

Before submitting, the user is required to accept a little agreement and i'm wondering if I am still at any legal standpoint with all of this. I record all ip addresses just in case, however is this illegal?

Any information is extremely helpful, thanks.

I so not understand what you are talking about. If gmail hires you to test their spam filters why are you letting others do the same? If you know what they probably are or will be doing will be illegal, you are also guilty of a crime. You have not gotten permission from the victim so why should any type of hold harmless agreement have any effect as to the illegal activity?
