Legal Question in Military Law in California

Can you still be processed out of the military even if you were found NOT GUILTY in a courts martial? Shouldn't one who was found innocent be able to continue their lives (career) with the status they had as if nothing ever happened?

You need to speak to a defense attorney with the Judge Advocates division, but the standard of proof for discharge may be less than for conviction of the activity in question. That is true in civilian jobs involving tenured or civil service individuals.
