Personal job injury

Got injured at work for many years of typing. Had shoulder injury and wrist is still under treatment. Insurance Company handling the case wants to settle with a one lump sum. Dr. said I have lost 1% of movility and I am 55. My wrist is still under treatment and Dr. said may require surgery. How is the settlement calculated? and how much could I expect? How will it affect my health insurance

Your injury is work-related and covered under labor codes and Worker's Compensation laws. You need to hire an attorney to file a WCAB claim and application for you with the Worker's Compensation Board and proceed with your case. These cases are decided by panel doctors.
