Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Added work for reporting a harrassment case

Due to a harassment situation with my supervisor - my company chose to change my position. I went from mail room assistant to insurance specialist. My responsibilties went from assisting with copy jobs and mail delivery to being responsible for maintaining insurance on over 200 real estate properties across the U.S. The problem is - they never changed my hourly wage. Is there a law protecting me from being taken advantage of like this?

If you contend this is somehow an example of continued sexual discrimination, or retaliation for the original complaint, then that is how I would approach the company. If your complaint is simply unequal pay, then we look to comparable wage for others doing similar job. Then a wage claim could be made. If you believe either is true, contact me to discuss.
