Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

speeding ticket

I got a speeding ticket on the 10 freeway alleging that I went over 90 miles in a 65 miles speed limit.

Police officer said I should ask for traffic school and he'll even request the judge that I get traffic school.

Should I hire an attorney to fight this or go to court and plead no contest and request for traffic school? What's the best option for my driving record and to save money?

Re: speeding ticket

You will receive a data mailer from the court that (hopefully) says you can go to traffic school. If so you can do everything through the court website, keep good records. If a court appearance is necessary you might want an attorney, this should not cost too much. Traffic school keeps your insurance from going up.
