Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Ame verses treating doctors oppinion.

My workers comp. doctor returned me to full duty after two surgerys and 15months recovery. I am no way able to return to work from my injuries. I was seen by a AME and was advised i wasnt able to return to work at my current position.Who has the final say?

As an AME is agreed on by both parties (you and defendant), the AME decision should be binding in the decision as to disability, injured worker status, etc.

The argument will be on the permanent disability rating.

If you have been determined a "Qualified Injured Worker," you are also entitled to Vocational Rehab benefits.

Hopefully, you have an attorney who should be able to explain this in more detail.
