Issued a citation for theft

I was accused of theft between $100 and $500 and I am a nurse. I was wrongly accused, but just want to get this over with, what could I expect to happen if I just plead guilty so I can put this behind me?

You should discuss an offer with the DA, but what you can expect (if this is a first offense) is a deferred sentence with community service. If you successfully complete a deferred, it goes down as a dismissal, and you can later seal the record.
