Legal Question in Personal Injury in Colorado

My daughters scalp was cut about 1" to 1/1/2" long and required 4 stitches while getting her haircut. The hair stylist admitted to not having a break over an 8 hour shift. They have offered to pay the $1616 of medical bills and an additonal $2300. Is this sufficient?

No, I do not think it is sufficient. I think they want to give you some money to get rid of you. Just a couple of considerations: is the scarring going to be permanent? Permanency can not be determined for some time after the actual injury. Has a physician determined whether there may be other effects of the injury?

In addition, personal injury attorneys nearly always give a free initial consultation. The insurance industrys own statistics indicate that once an attorney becomes involved, the value of any claim at least doubles. Put those two facts together and it is in your best interest to retain experienced legal counsel at your earliest possible convenience.
