Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

Legal rights of compensation

My husband and I recently built a new home with a builder. The home has had extensive list of problems, some reoccuring. We are wondering what our rights are to have them compensate us for our time, grief and expenses. Possibly have them buy the house back?

Your rights are dependent on the terms of any contract you signed with the builder. If there was no written or verbal contract, there is limited case law regarding "quasi contract" theories, but there is no "lemon law" that I know of for houses.
