Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Change of ownership

my wife is the sole heir and executor on her mothers will. it is not a large estate, no money, just a house and the lot. It does not have a mortgage. Canwe just go to the courthouse and file some type of deed change, what is the procedure for this. Thank You

Re: Change of ownership

Morning,

Sorry for your loss. You cannot just go to the court and file some deed

I would review this site http://www.cobar.org/group/display.cfm?GenID=422 and contact an estate attorney for advice.
