is harassing and slandering ones name illegal?
there is this person, my fiance EX and shes using his name posting stuff about him...whats worse now is that she is being very threatening and slandering my KIDS....calling them bastards and calling me a whore and constantly saying F you and calling me a fing isiot and a fing bitch...i have responded back and maybe that wasnt right but she keeps on and its getting to where im afraid she will hurt me...she's threatning to make up fake claims about me if i dont do what she wants...its all on a military web site...this is affecting me emotionally to where i cant sleep and its making me depressed and i dont how to get her to stop harassing us

This is illegal conduct under both state + Federal law. It also likely violates the TOU for the website + her ISP. I would recommend a strongly worded Cease + Desist letter from your Attorney. I have had numerous clients with similar situations + we have brought them to a stop.
