Re: did I stuill have to pay?

Most likely you will have the responsibilty for the damages as you were the car that hit the vehicle in front of you. I don't know why it was labled a DUI/DWI matter because you did not indicate whether the police at the scene and what the officer did or how alochol was involve. I would say you have the bulk the resposibilty because you were following to close for conditions, speeding or traveling at a speed which was to fast for conditions. Because you have other issues involved, I would get on the phone and contact an attorney to represent you or for a consulation. Most attorneys will give you a consulation at no charge or for a small fee. Tom Noonan
