Re: court proceedings

Scheduling orders are deadlines set by the court. These are dates that control the progress of certain suit activities, ie., depositions, interrogatories, expert disclosure, motions for summary judgment etc. The scheduling orders are entered into differently depending on the court; some do it by mail, some do it with a judge and the parties present. The court clerks and caseflow officers can give you information but they cannot provide legal advice. Good luck.
