Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

I am a salaried manager for a corporate retail chain. They have me working aline 9 1/2 hours a day six and sometimes 7 days a week. Is it legal to work alone all day in Connecticut

It is not illegal to make someone work alone. It could be that you should not be salaried. Sometimes, retailers classify their manager or assistant managers as exempt "executives" when in fact they are nothing more than glorified stock clerks / cashiers. Store Managers at Family Dollar are suing for this. You should contact an attorney that specializes in overtime law.
