landlord rights

i own a three family home, i am in the process of evicting a tenant that never paid rent. she now has changed the locks to the apartment and refuses to give me a key. what are my rights and how do I get a key quickly?

As frustrating and as slow as it seems, you need to go through the legal process to obtain a judgment of possession. Non payment cases ove fairly quickly but never as fast as the landlord would like.

Do not resort to self help or you will find yourself on the wromng end of a lawsuit! Call me if I can be of help.
