Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

Changing will

My sister & I were equal beneficiaries of my mother's revocable trust, with our shares being left to our children in the event of our death. My sister recent passed and mom wants to leave everything to me and my trust will leave everything to my children and my sisters' equally. Can this be done?

Re: Changing will

Sure. Mom's trust is revocable, so it merely has to be amended. But you say "my trust will leave everything to my children and my sister's equally". Do you have a separate trust, or does one need to be drawn up? Also, check Mom's trust (or I can for you). It may already provide that your sister's children take her half if she's already passed away.
